My journey creating these fine art shadow boxes began with my first snorkeling adventure in Tahiti. I was completely smitten by the fragile, intricate beauty thriving on the reef. That unforgettable view inspired me to sculpt these delicate marine ecosystems by hand using fine white clay, capturing the organic textures, folds, and living colors that scuba divers and snorkelers hold so dear.

I created this shadow box series as an invitation: a space to pause, marvel at the fragile life beneath the surface, and remember how urgently our oceans need stewardship.

After falling in love with the reef on a snorkeling trip to Tahiti, I began hand-sculpting these detailed ecosystems using fine white clay—creating framed moments to pause, admire, and protect.
